KC Zombie Walk!!!

Kansas City "World Zombie Day" Walk for Hunger
This October we are participating in the World Zombie Day walk for hunger. We will be taking food item donations for Harvesters.
What better cause for a bunch of hungry zombies, then to collect food for those who constantly go hungry in our community! Good thing we don't prefer the kind food we are collecting! In order to participate in this event you must bring a minimum of 3 food items per person to participate in the walk! If you can not make this allotted donation please contact me as soon as possible, I want to ensure that all people can participate!
Here is a list of the most desired food items from the Harvesters web-site.

Canned fruit
Boxed meals - (Hamburger Helper, Pasta Roni)
Canned Meat/Tuna
Peanut Butter
Canned Soup
Cereal – hot and cold

Date: October 26, 2008
Location: At the JC Nichols Fountain located at the intersection of Main and JC Nichols Parkway near the Plaza
Time: 1:30 PM at the fountain. ALL FOOD MUST BE PROCESSED BY 1:30 PM!!!!! We will then gather all zombies and go through some basic instructions as a group and start walking our route at 2 PM.
At the last walk there were some who could not make it on time. Please ensure that you are there by the 2 PM walk time as we will start walking at 2 PM, not start gathering.
The route has not yet been recorded. I will be trying to get the route nailed down this weekend provided I can find an hour to walk the route in dry weather.
The route will take approximately 1 – 1.5 hours to walk. The last walk in May lasted at most 30 minutes. We are going to make this one worth our while. We will dip and weave throughout the Plaza area ending back at the fountain.
When we arrive back at the fountain we will then hand out prizes and get to know our fellow zombies before heading out to wherever it is zombies go.
The entire walk will be concluded before the sun sets at 6:10 PM.
Please remember to abide by all rules during this walk. We are going to be in a VERY tough area so it is IMPARATIVE that all laws be obeyed. If you are having trouble remembering how to obey the law please see the "Zombie Walk Rules" blog. If you do not abide by the law/rules of the walk or see another zombie breaking the law/rules it is your duty to ask them politely and quietly to leave the walk. If this does not bode well, you can always come to me and I will ask them to leave.
We can't have 1 bad apple spoiling it for the rest!
